Environmental Humanities World Café
The world cafés are informal get-togethers for network members and anyone interested in the Environmental Humanities for discussion around a given theme. The theme of this café is the importance of the environmental humanities in addressing Arctic challenges.
Collaborative Research Exchange
A delegation from UiT Arctic Humanities visited KTH Environmental Humanities Laboratory, the Centre of Excellence for Anthropocene History, and the KTH Future Humanities Initiative at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, September 7-10, 2025.
TN visit: Durham to UiT for Fulglan veit conference
As part of the Fuglan veit conference, thematic network partner Helen F. Wilson from the University of Durham visited Tromsø. Local network members attended the conference and combined the visit with a mini-network meeting after the conference to work on the forthcoming article on Arctic perspectives on the environmental humanities. 2nd World Café
Our 2nd world café was hosted by Helen Wilson (University of Durham) and Sonja Åman (University of Oslo). We continued to discuss the issues surrounding Arctic Environmental Humanities with a view to our positioning article that we are collectively working on in the network.
