Polytechnique Montréal is a flagship of engineering in Québec and is also one of Canada’s leading engineering educational and research institutions, with an annual research funding scaling up to 65 000 000 Euros. Since its establishment in 1873, Polytechnique Montréal has trained nearly 50 000 engineers, specialists, and researchers. Polytechnique is a key player in Québec’s engineering and innovation sector, in addition to being a partner of choice for a number of innovative businesses in Québec, elsewhere in Canada and the world.
Polytechnique Montréal is host of the Science Diplomacy Chair on Arctic and Space studies.
