The DVD and website both reflect the rich body of aesthetic and theoretical reflections generated during thr exhibition project Rethinking Nordic Colonialism: A Postcolonial Exhibition Project in Five Acts, which took place in Iceland, Greenland, the Faroe Islands and Finnish Sápmi during 2006. The publications contain a series of essays and interviews as well as general information about the project - participants' bios, exhibition video tours, public events video and audio summaries, press material, etc. -  allowing viewers to navigate through its five acts.

The Rethinking Nordic Colonialism project combined exhibitions with workshops, conferences, hearings, and happenings and featured fifty-six artists, theorists, politicians and grassroots activists from all over the world who attempted to write a first collective history of Nordic colonialism.

A series of simultaneous launch events will take place in Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo, Stockholm, Nuuk, Reykjavik, Rovaniemi and Tórshavn on Saturday, November 25.
