Workshop Announcement - EU Seventh Framework Programme for Research
The workshop "New integrated approach of models and measurements to describe local soil climate and climate impacts at northern latitudes" will be held on 7-8 November 2007, in Lulea, Sweden.
The aim of the workshop is to discuss applications and calls to address applications for the EU Seventh Framework Programme for Research (FP7) themes on environment (including climate change), sustainable management of resources, and integrated forest research.At a previous workshop held 31 May-1 June 2007, in Sodankyla, Finland, Swedish and Finnish researchers, as well as manufacturers and others dealing with snow and soil measurement and modeling, met and shared information regarding ongoing activities and future plans. The Lulea workshop is a continuation of that meeting and, with broader participation from additional European researchers, is being held to formulate an FP7 application.
