Ookpik website seeking creative works from Arctic youth
The Ookpik website - a portal for young Northerners - is calling on Arctic youth from all circumpolar countries to submit creative written or artistic works to be posted online.
The theme for 2007 is GET POLARIZED: Capturing the Contrasts of the Arctic
Ookpik invites young people between the ages of 12 and 25 to share their images and impressions of living in the far North.Submissions can be in the form of stories, photos, drawings or poems. The selected works will get published on the website at www.ookpik.org
The deadline for entries is March 15, 2007.
