The purpose of the project is to make available information of the Barents region's cultural heritage and research information to the general public, researchers, various actors in cultural organisations, educational institutions and experts. The objectives in the project are content production, networking of researchers in the fields of art, culture and history, and the development of know-how in the area.
 
The aim of this network is to promote cooperation between researches of the Barents region, to increase social interaction, to contribute to the exchange of ideas, knowledge and experiences and to offer institutional frames for deeper cooperation.
 
We are looking for interested partners from UArctic and other organisations to develop together future art and cultural cooperation and modify the colorful look of the Barents region.
 
ArCHis -network is open for all researchers from all over the Barents Region. You can join ArCHis by answering to questionnaire in www.ulapland.fi/archis. The questionnaire is available in English and Russian.
