
The successful applicant will:
- Meet the requirements set for NSERC Visiting Scientists in Government Laboratories
- Have a PhD in community or ecosystem ecology, hydrology, landscape ecology, sampling design, or related fields
- Have a strong knowledge and experience in sampling design at landscape scale
- Have a good understanding of northern tundra, freshwater ecosystems and their associated processes and stressors, or northern landscape processes
- Be highly motivated and a cooperative team player
- Possess excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills
- Have experience in northern field logistics and / or in working in northern landscapes
- Possess an understanding of climate change factors and impacts
