IPY Publications Database Updated
International Polar Year 2007-2008The International Polar Year Publications Database (IPYPD) has been
updated and currently contains 1,466 publications.
The IPYPD is attempting to identify and describe all publications that result from, or that are about, IPY 2007-2008 and the three previous IPYs.
The success of the IPYPD depends on the willingness of IPY researchers, educators, and communicators to report their publications, as required by the IPY Data Policy and the IPY Scholarly Publications Policy, and as described on the Reporting Your Publications page. It is estimated that the IPY 2007-2008 will result in approximately 20,000 publications, the majority of which will be published in the ten years following 2008. If you are working on an IPY project, please report your project's publications as described on the IPYPD website.
