Following an initiative made by Sinikka Bohlin, President of the Nordic Council and long-term friend of UArctic, the Nordic Council approved an increased prioritization for Arctic research and higher education into the Nordic funding instruments.

This project will develop a virtual classroom, a platform for excellence in distance education giving enhanced and content rich opportunities for on-line discussion and alternative forms of interactive teaching.
