New Masters Program in Landscape Architecture in Tromsø
The Oslo School of Architecture and Design has established a new program in Landscape Architecture in collaboration with the University of Tromsø. The Tromsø Academy of Landscape Architecture and Territorial Studies (TACL) will be situated in Tromsø, a cultural, intellectual and political hub of a circumpolar region which is undergoing radical change. Climate change, new trading routes, and new forms of resource exploitation contribute to a potent geopolitical situation that is reshaping the circumpolar area, making landscape a critical factor in its ecological and social development.
Students with interests in landscape design, extreme landscapes, subarctic urbanism and exposed ecologies are encouraged to apply.
