7th Polar Law Symposium: The Polar Regions in the Asian Century, Hobart, Tasmania, Australia 30–31 October 2014
The Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS) at the University of Tasmania, is proud to join the Polar Law Institute in Akureyri and the University of Akureyri in Iceland, and the Northern Institute for Environmental and Minority Law of the Arctic Centre of the University of Lapland, the University of the Arctic, and the Arctic Law Thematic Network in Finland in organizing the 7th Polar Law Symposium.
This will be the first time the event has been held in the Southern Hemisphere.
The theme will be ‘The Polar Regions in the Asian Century’ and we welcome expressions of interest from speakers in the two parts of the program:
