In total 12 waivers are available: five waivers for Russian Language and Culture in Siberia; five waivers for Climate Change: Transformation of Landscapes and Adaptation of the Society; and two waivers will be allocated for students applying for archeological field school Cradle of Northern Cultures.
Russian Language and Culture in Siberia, hosted by the Philological Faculty, will provide courses in Russian language and culture. Students will get knowledge on Russian language, literature and culture in Siberia. The program offers diverse cultural and social program and also a field trip. Prior knowledge of Russian language is not necessary.
The summer school Climate Change: Transformation of Landscapes and Adaptation of the Society is led by the Institute of Natural Sciences in cooperation with DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service). This school is intended for both undergraduate and graduate students interested in studying the climate change from natural and social sciences perspective.
Archeological field school Cradle of Northern Cultures, coordinated by the Historical Faculty, is ready to host two UArctic students in its annual expedition with NEFU students to Central Yakutia. Requirements of the program: relevant educational background and experience of field trips and expeditions.
All successful applicants are allocated tuition and accommodation fee waivers. However, they are still responsible for travel, cultural program and field trips costs.

North-Eastern Federal University has opened a call for applications for its annual summer school programs. This year it offers six summer school programs in different fields of studies. NEFU also offers full tuition and accommodation fee waivers for UArctic partner institution students.
