The topic of this first workshop is ‘Visual Angles on Environmental Change’ and it will be approached using techniques in e.g. repeat photography, long exposures and aerial photography and through scales both in space and in time.

A workshop combining science and photography will be arranged at Oulanka research station in Kuusamo between 1.9 – 5.9 2014. The venue is located in the middle of the Oulanka National Park.The workshop is being arranged by the University of the Arctic thematic network ‘Communicating Arctic Research’, also known as ‘SubZero’, and is funded by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation. The workshop is the first in a series of three annual workshops arranged through the project ‘Visualization of Environmental Change’
