The aims of the event are to:

Introduce UArctic through presentations on UArctic Thematic Networks and Research, UArctic Vice-President Research Kari Laine and Director of Thematic Networks Office, Kirsi Latola

Introduce Durham’s Arctic researchers to each other and enable you to support and enhance each other’s work

Raise Durham’s external profile as a great partner for Arctic researchMaximise the benefits of our membership of UArctic

 The event will provide a fantastic networking opportunity with colleagues at Durham University and understand more about their work.  It will also be extremely useful for them to hear from you about how  they can engage in UArctic.   The event will include presentations on Arctic research from colleagues across the faculties and conclude with storytelling by Dr. Eleanor Barraclough, Durham’s own BBC New Generation Thinker and specialist in Norse Sagas.
