Seminar Making Cultural Heritage Online: Lars Levi Laestadius, Tromsø, 29-30 October 2015

A Seminar: Making Cultural Heritage Online: Lars Levi Laestadius, will be held on October 29th-30th at UiT The Arctic University of Norway. The seminar will focus on the heritage of Lars Levi Laestadius and digitalizing cultural heritage.

The seminar is organised by an international research project: Lars Levi Laestadius – Making Cultural Heritage Online. The project aims to make available all the works of Laestadius and raise their profile, thereby opening up a significant field of cultural heritage in the Arctic region. Lars Levi Laestadius (1800-1861) was a revival preacher and scientist with great impact among Arctic people.

The seminar will be held at Nedre lysthus: NLYSTH 06, Campus Breivika.

The seminar is part of the UArctic Thematic Network on Distance Education and E-Learning activities.
