Results of the International Youth Forum "The Arctic Expedition"
The 1st part of the International Youth Forum "The Arctic Expedition", which took place from 2 to 7 February 2015 in the Tver region, finished. The event was attended by more than 100 students and young scientists from seven countries of the Arctic Council (Russia, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Norway, the United States and Canada).
Throughout the Forum, young people took part in a quest game and the work of a scientific laboratory.
According to the results of the Youth Forum five winners will leave for the polar ice camp "Barneo". Two most active participants will represent Russia at the youth seminar "Future Leaders of the Arctic" in Ottawa this year. Ten participants of the Forum got certificates to participate in the expedition “Arctic Floating University” (NArFU).
One of the results of "The Arctic Expedition" is signing the resolution which established a working group on the organization of the Youth Arctic Council.
