The seminar will consist of UArctic's Research Area Vice-President Research Kari Laine's presentation followed by free discussion.

The event is free of charge but interested parties are asked to register. The language of the event is English with Japanese interpretation.

The event is co-organised by the Thule Institute, University of Oulu.
