International students participate in intensive Russian language course in Tomsk
The Tomsk State University’s Faculty of Philology carries out a summer school of intensive Russian language for 30 university students from Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovenia and India.
The Faculty of Philology has been organizing summer schools since 2013. The number of participating students increases every year. This year the faculty has won a DAAD grant and received scholarships for German students to study in Tomsk. TSU invited students from other countries as well.
“Summer schools are a good opportunity to interact with students from all over the world and to integrate the university into the international educational sphere,” says Daria Olitskaya of the TSU’s department of Romance-Germanic Philology and the head of the summer school.
Students can expect a rich educational and cultural program as well as insights into the university and Tomsk.
