UArctic Thematic Networks logo

Public Health is moving forward on the special issue related to ‘Extreme Epidemiology’ to be published in fall 2016, and the editors are in process of developing a list of potential authors and manuscripts until Sept 1, 2015. The focus is on epidemiology in extreme climates, including the Arctic and the tropics.

Here is a link to the general site, including a sample issue and Guidelines for Authors: http://www.journals.elsevier.com/public-health

If you would like to be added to the list of potential contributors, please send Rhonda Johnson (Rhonda.Johnson@uaa.alaska.edu) a brief email including your name, affiliation and potential manuscript idea/title, no later than September 1, 2015.

Note that the journal considers a variety of types of submissions, including original research, short communications, review papers, letters, and celebrating public health lives, and this special issue will be equally open to same.

Public Health is published by the Royal Society for Public Health. It is a multidisciplinary peer reviewed journal that publishes original papers, reviews and short reports on all aspects of the science, philosophy and practice of public health.
