The results of the VIII All-Russian Festival of Mass Communications "PR Days in Yakutia"
September 4-6, 2015 in the frame of the VIII All-Russian Festival of Mass Communications, participants attended the final conference "Tourism's image as a factor of socio-economic development in the Far East and Siberia."
Scientific and professional society of China and Russia discussed issues related to the tourism modernization, branding, problems of territories development in the context of globalization, etc. As a result of discussions, ministries and departments will try to intensify activities in the field of image policy and tourism in Yakutia regarding social initiatives.
Directly to the subject of tourism industry, it was recommended to pay attention to the development of scientific and ecological tourism, expand the range and quality of services in business tourism. It was proposed to define the development of tourism in the Arctic as the priority industry of Yakutia.
