II International Ice School was held in Far-Eastern Federal University

This year’s participants were undergraduate students, graduate students and young scientists from Russia, China, India, the Republic of Korea and Norway. Participants conducted field experiments with natural material and took samples for laboratory testing.

The leading teachers of the Far Eastern Federal University's School of Engineering and the invited expert of Rosneft-Shelf-Arctic Ltd. shared their knowledge and experience with young scientists.

The experiments continued in the Novik Bay for several days, after which the project participants analyzed the received data. The two-week training program was completed on February 5th with the test on acquired knowledge, necessary for the implementation of projects for the development of the Arctic region.

The third wnter school is planned to be held in January – February 2017.
