UrFU Meteorite Expedition Returned with Two Meteorite Samples
The findings will help Ural Federal University's scientists to learn more about the origin of the Universe and the future of our planet
The scientists carried two meteorites and some of collected stones that have structural similarities to meteorites. The rest of the samples, as well as cubes of blue ice, were packaged and are waiting to be shipped to Ekaterinburg through St.Petersburg in April. The blue ice will be examined by scientists of St. Petersburg Nuclear Physics Institute, Ural Federal University, and their French colleagues.
