The agenda will include sessions on Arctic Business: tourism, shipping, airlines, natural resources, as well as fisheries and living resources.
Other sessions will be on Arctic investment structures, the empowerment of indigenous peoples, health and well-being, research and innovation, and benefit agreements for local communities.
Speakers and participants from the Arctic States, Europe, and Asia will include political leaders, officials, representatives from businesses and organizations, investment funds, scientific institutes, and indigenous community leaders.
The Forum will be opened by President of Iceland Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson and Premier of Greenland Kim Kielsen. A program outline is available here.
