In 2016 the students of the Naryan-Mar Social Humanitarian College took part in the international project "Peacepainting". The project first launched in Norway unites children and young people from different countries and allows them to express themselves through painting.

The project idea originally belongs to Catrine Gangstø from Norway, whose aim is to help children and young people to attract attention to contemporary challenges and convey their messages through painting and accompanying texts. Paintings are then exchanged nationally and internationally.
Among the participants of the project are such countries as Norway, Finland, Russia, Poland, Bulgaria, France, North Korea, Tunisia, Sri Lanka.

Student paintings from Naryan-Mar reflect the beauty of Northern nature and lifestyle. Students found ideas for their works in their own childhood.
