After a comprehensive and competitive process, Nunavut Arctic College is now collaborating with Memorial University, the plan is to create a 10 year partnership.

Árni Jóhan Petersen from the University of the Faroe Islands participated in a north2north mobility research stay in British Colombia in 2018, where he studied the effects of "gold rush" on local communities, the stay also involved the UArctic Thematic Network on Arctic Sustainable Resources and Social Responsibility.
