Thematic Network on Geopolitics and Security to host 7 break out sessions at Arctic Circle

One of the main goals of the Thematic Network (TN) on Geopolitics and Security is to organise sessions at international conferences. The TN has been active since the beginning of the annual conference Arctic Circle Assembly, which is held this year for the 7th time. In 2019, the TN will (co-)organise 7 breakout sessions at the Assembly, which will take place in Reykjavik from 10th to 13th of October.

The session schedule is as follows:

Thursday, October 10th
09:00-10:00 - Analysis of Arctic Policies, Strategies and Programs
17:15-18:15 - Arctic Geo-economics, Development and Governance

Friday, October 11th
11:15-12:00 - Cybersecurity and Digitalization in the Arctic: Human Security Perspectives
11:15-12:00 - The New Arctic Circle Mission Council: the Global Arctic

Saturday, October 12th
11:30-12:15 - Global Arctic: From a Theoretical Concept to a Governance Instrument
16:30-17:30 - Diversity in Unity/Unity in Diversity – the Nordic Models
17:30-19:00 - Military-security and the Arctic Council
