Bringing the Arctic Circle Assembly back to Isafjordur

The student group in front of the Harpa Reykjavik Concert Hall and Conference Centre, which hosted the Arctic Circle Assembly.

Following the Arctic Circle Assembly in in early October, students at the Univeristy Centre of the Westfjords shared their summaries and impressions of the conference.

 

Students at the University Centre of the Westfjords participated in the Arctic Circle conference and in a weekly lunch lecture. They  shared summaries and perspectives on many of the topics discussed at Arctic Circle. Students gave presentations on minority representation, climate change representation and governance at the Arctic Circle effectively bringing the Arctic Circle Assembly to Isafjordur.

Lunch Lectures take place in the University Centre cafeteria Fridays 12:10-13 and are open to all. Welcome.
