Postdoctoral Position Available: Assessing Climate Change Knowledge Co-Production and Boundary Spanning in Alaska

This two-year position will be located at UAF in Fairbanks, Alaska. Experience and/or demonstrated capacity to contribute in one or more of the following topical areas is required:

• Indigenous evaluation, indigenous knowledge, and/or cross-cultural communication;
• Climate change science, application, communication, and knowledge co-production;
• Wildfire science and boundary spanning; and
• Mixed-subsistence economies and community development.

Applications must include a curriculum vitae, cover letter, and contact information for three references. The cover letter should include a description of the candidate’s PhD research; a discussion of research interests and experience relevant to one or more of the research areas listed in the online announcement; a discussion of the candidate’s research interests and experience relevant to one or more of the topical areas; and a brief proposed plan for investigating one or more of the research areas that includes data collection and analysis methods with which the applicant is experienced as well as possible additional methods they have an interest in learning.
