The Arctic Research Consortium of the U.S. (ARCUS) announces the availability of community meeting space at the fall meeting of the American Geophysical Union (AGU), to be held 12-16 December 2022 in Chicago, Illinois.

A process has started to connect scientists, engineers, writers, economists and politicians with the indigenous rightsholders in Greenland to discuss active conservation of the Greenland ice sheet. In their meetings in Reykjavik they have agreed that research on topic is urgently needed.

Thanks to a private donation to UArctic, Alexandre Delangle got to spend three intensive days in Reykjavík expanding his networks and knowledge. He joined the 2022 Arctic Circle Assembly as one of the My Northern Project participants, pitching his research topic in less than five minutes in the science popularization contest.

UArctic, in collaboration with the Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science (DAFHES) organized a Caucus meeting on October 25 at the Polarsekretariat in Copenhagen.
