Arctic 5 Chair Security Studies special seminar: "Hybrid Threats in the Arctic" held at the UiT Arctic University of Norway

In this connection, a special seminar titled "Hybrid Threats in the Arctic" was held on January 19, where Prof. Hossain gave a talk on "Human Security and the Arctic". The event took place on Thursday, January 19, 2023, from 1500 to 1700 CET in the Mandela Auditorium at the Centre for Peace Studies (CPS), UiT.

The Arctic 5 Chair in Security Studies project, led by Prf. Gunhild Hoogensen Gjørv from the UiT Arctic University of Norway, collaborates with the Universities of Lapland, and Umeå, and the Independent Barents Observer news organisation. (The project will further reach out to Oulu and Luleå as the project progresses). The project is a part of the Grey Zone research group and WarPeD research network at UiT. The UArctic Chair in Arctic Legal Research and Education and the Northern Institute for Environmental and Minority Law at the Arctic Centre are core team partners with the project.
