National Snow Seminar, Helsinki, Finland
The Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI), the Finnish Environment Institute (Syke) and the Arctic Center of the University of Lapland will organize a national snow seminar on November 1, 2023 at the Finnish Meteorological Institute in Kumpula, Helsinki.
In the seminar, Syke and the Arctic Center will talk about making citizen observations of snow, FMI will issue new instructions for citizen observations of dust and colored snow, and the Finnish Association for Nature Conservation (FANC) will also be on site. On the same day, the association's winter monitoring campaign starts.
