The congress includes high-level plenary sessions, several parallel sessions, network activities, and social and cultural events. It provides an opportunity for researchers, policymakers, businesses, and students to exchange knowledge and meet and connect across the Arctic. The International Arctic Social Sciences Association (IASSA)and UArctic will also hold their assemblies.
Organizers welcome abstracts for 118 sessions under four main themes: Oceans, Climate and Environment, Sustainable Economic Developments, and People of the North. The duration and format of the presentation (oral or poster) will be decided individually by the session convener(s) and subject to accepted number of abstracts. The sessions run either 60 or 90 minutes.
