The appointment begins 1 July 2024 and is for one year, with a possible renewal for a second year pending review and reappointment. The successful candidate will have a teaching load of two courses per semester, including “Archaeology and the Human Experience.” The hiring committee is interested in candidates specializing in Indigenous peoples and cultures of the Americas, including the Arctic.
A PhD in Anthropology is expected by the date of appointment. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education and to inclusive excellence in teaching.
