This year’s conference theme is “Elements of Arctic Security” which explores security in the Arctic from multiple perspectives. Security in the Arctic encompasses issues related to human, environmental, and climate security, as well as traditional state security. Recent geopolitical shifts only emphasize the need for a holistic understanding of these interconnected dimensions in the Arctic region.
