Call Extension: Travel Grants for Undergraduate Northern Indigenous Students Attending the Arctic Congress Bodø 2024
The University of the Arctic is inviting undergraduate Northern Indigenous students from UArctic member institutions in Arctic countries (USA, Canada and the Nordic countries) to apply for funding to attend the Arctic Congress Bodø 2024 held in Norway on May 29 – June 2.
The students can apply for funding to cover their travel (up to max fixed sum, see table below), accommodation and registration costs for their participation at the Arctic Congress Bodø 2024. The students taking a degree aiming at strengthening northern indigenous languages, culture or art will be prioritized in the grant allocation.
To apply: please fill out the application form below before the 28th of April, 2024. The following attachments should be enclosed in the application:
- Motivation letter (not longer than one page);
- Letter of recommendation written by the Head of the Department of their study program or a professor;
- Detailed estimated travel and accommodation costs in NOK.
