The seminar will take place online on October 29 at 2 PM GMT.

The AURORAE service is a web interface to monitor the air quality of Northern European countries on a daily basis. It is providing a two-day forecast of particulate matter concentrations developed through an Artificial Intelligence (AI) model.

The website offers an interactive map showing air pollution concentration and near-real-time forecast at hourly resolution for over 100 sites in Northern Europe, highlighting projected air quality conditions at each station. A daily bulletin reporting the forecast for all stations will be also released on a daily basis to provide a broad overview of air pollution status for Northern communities.

Accessible air quality forecasts can help citizens and policy-makers with informed decision making about their health, safety, and environmental protection. In this online seminar the organizers will present and demonstrate the new forecast service and discuss it with the audience. Feedback on AURORAE via this short user survey is highly appreciated and will be used for its further development.
