Save the date: SAS webinar: Dynamic processes in the Arctic Ocean, September 23
This webinar, organized by the Synoptic Arctic Survey (SAS), will comprise three presentations connected to the impact of ocean dynamics on Arctic Ocean processes. They will take place via Zoom on Monday 23 September, at 12:00 – 13:30 UTC.
The three presentations and their respective presenters are:
- Recent state transition of the Beaufort Gyre by Peigen Lin
- Dense shelf water propagation and subduction drives lateral injection of particulate organic carbon into the deep Nansen Basin by Andreas Rogge, a postdoctoral researcher at the UArctic member Alfred Wegner Institute.
- Contribution from prokaryotes to the Central Arctic Ocean carbon cycling by Johan Wikner, a professor at UArctic member Umeå University.
