UArctic x Lloyd’s Register Foundation Research Fellows Visit To Headquarters in London
The Research Fellowships is a partnership between the Lloyd's Register Foundation and the University of the Arctic. The Fellowships aim to support researchers that use historical perspectives and apply them to current safety challenges in the Arctic Ocean and its peoples
Last week, the UArctic x Lloyd's Register Foundation Research Fellowships visited the Foundation’s home at the Lloyd’s Register Building in London for a day of presentations, meetings, and knowledge exchange.
The Research Fellows, together with programme support staff, met with collaborators from Lloyd’s Register Foundation. During the visit, the Fellows delivered presentations to staff, outlining progress on their projects and demonstrating how their work supports the Foundation’s mission of engineering a safer world.
After the presentations, the Fellows took part in meetings with Lloyd's Register Foundation colleagues to discuss collaboration opportunities and future activities within the wider Foundation community. The meetings in London ended with a visit to the National Maritime Museum.
