"You are warmly welcome to Inari on June 6 – 9, 2025 for the UArctic General Assembly!
Come and network around timely issues! Experience the nature of the Sámi land awakening in summer, the clean air and the gentle light of the midnight sun. In June, migratory birds have arrived and reindeer calves have taken their first shaky steps. In Inari, you are not only close to nature, but also at the heart of Sámi culture, at the meeting point of tradition and modernity.
The Sámi Education Institute is one of the founding members of the UArctic. We are delighted to have the opportunity to host this wonderful event in Inari, now a quarter of a century after its establishment. The UArctic General Assembly is an inspiring meeting place for experts in education and research in the Arctic region. It is also a unique opportunity to learn about Sámi culture and its operating environment. In addition to the official UArctic General Assembly, the program includes a current overview of Sámi culture, including education, livelihoods, project activities and self-government.
We open up horizons for you to gain insights!"
