New Danish intern joins the UArctic International Secretariat in Rovaniemi
A new intern Christian Nielsen has joined the UArctic International Secretariat in Rovaniemi, working with the team until January 2026.
Christian Nielsen has joined as the new intern at the UArctic International Secretariat in Rovaniemi, working with the team until January 2026.
Christian has completed his bachelor’s degree in Language and International Studies at Aalborg University in the summer of 2024. As a part of studying for his master’s degree in international studies, Christian has had the opportunity for an Internship at UArctic to gain valuable work experience.
Christians role will be writing news stories for our website and social media interaction, he will also be assisting in the communication of the UArctic congress 2026 in Torshavn. He will be working with the development of web pages for UArctic's government funded projects. Christian is passionate about world politics and climate change which the role of arctic has become increasingly important.
His internship has been made possible by the support of Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science, and he is looking forward to the organizations ongoing work over the next 4 months.
