Apply now for the Polar Winter School in Lapland
The UArctic Thematic Network on High Latitude Dust (HLD) co-organizes the 3rd Polar Winter School on snow measurements and Arctic air pollution in Kilpisjรคrvi, Lapland, on 12-18 April 2026.
The program includes a week of immersive learning with courses on snow hydrology, glaciology, air pollution, and avalanche safety, delivered by the experts from Finland, Czech Republic and Iceland. The partners are the Thematic Network on Nordic Snow Network (NordSnowNet) and Cryoscope.

- flight ticket from their home destination to Tromso, Rovaniemi or Kittilรค
- Accommodation and food ~ 550 โฌ (MSc. and Bc. students)/ 900 โฌ (PhD students)
- Local transport from/to the airport ~ 180 โฌ
- Travel insurance
