As someone deeply interested in climate change, I find the Arctic particularly important to investigate and understand. It’s a place where the effects of global warming are especially visible, which is both interesting and alarming.
From my flight across Greenland, I was met with a unique and raw nature, as I flew across the Greenlandic ice sheet. When I reached Nuuk, I was met with a warm welcome.
I left Iceland with a lot of great memories, new friendships, and an appreciation for the beauty of the island.
