Partial funding is available to cover the travel costs and / or registration fee for attending the ASSW 2024 either on-site or online for:
- Early career researchers up to 5 years past their final degree (e.g. PhD) with an Arctic research focus (an allowance will be made for career breaks such as parental leave); or
- Arctic Indigenous Scholars and Knowledge Holders
Preference will be given to applicants who have an active role as presenters / speakers / panelists / (co-)organisers / committee members of any meeting / workshop / session or volunteers during the ASSW 2024 (including the Arctic Observing Summit 2024) and who are located in / affiliated with an institution in an IASC member country.
The application deadline is on 15 December 2023 at 13:00 GMT and recipients will be informed by early January 2024.
