ARCTIC 6G - Developing 6G in northern Sweden and Finland
University of Oulu, Luleå Technical University and Lapland University of Applied Sciences have started a three-year project concerning Arctic connectivity using 6G.
The project runs 2023-2025. It considers topics like reindeer herders connectivity use cases, new indicators for providing access in remote areas and detect connectivity inequality, 6G techniques for remote access, security, localization, and demonstrations at the end.
