As part of the activities of the UArctic Thematic Network (TN) on Local-scale Planning, Climate Change and Resilience, this online seminar series will address issues related to climate change impacts and response, as well as resilience in general, in northern communities. In particular, this series will explore how local government decision-makers and stakeholders engage climate change discourse, how impacts manifest in different locations, and how resilience features in policy and planning. Over the course of the series, we will hear from speakers that are engaging in a diversity of research, from risk assessment and disaster management, to the value of cultural ecosystem services in the context of climate change resilience.
