The UArctic Entrepreneurship Fund supports the development of new services and products in the incubator stage that have a direct, beneficial impact on the Arctic environment or Arctic communities. The Fund aims to highlight and advance innovative and inspiring entrepreneurial ideas focused on the North.

The 2023 recipients of the UArctic Entrepreneurship Fund:

$5,000 - Mariia Osipova (Lead) - CHUMM - The Home of Indigenous Art – An online showcase and marketplace for Indigenous artists offering the opportunity to demonstrate a unique and authentic collection of artworks. To provide economic opportunities, preserve cultural heritage, and promote sustainable practices.


$5000 - Ernst Holm, Magne Vethal Kanneworff, Lucas RønneJeppesen, Nicoline Louise Thomsen, Magnus Frederiksen, Youssef Walid Abdel Rahman- Arctic Maritime drone platform to solve arctic environmental problems.


$9250 - Samson Steindal Vonen (Lead) CapiPro SB - Waste into Profit – Student company aiming to produce Capitella Teleta, extract protein, amino acids, and Omega 3-acids. These raw products will be sold to feed companies as healthy and locally produced feed materials.
