The PEOPLE 2025 International Conference "Challenges and Opportunities in Environmental Sustainability under Climate Change" is jointly organized with the 2025 Atlantic Symposium of the Canadian Association on Water Quality (CAWQ). The conference will take place from July 21-25, 2025 in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.

PEOPLE 2025 abstract submission portal is now open and must be submitted by February 28, 2025.
Call for proposals to organize workshops or technical/special sessions during the conference should by submitted by February 17, 2025.

Dr. Bing Chen, UArctic Chair in Marine and Coastal Environmental Engineering is the Conference Chair and Director of the PEOPLE Network. The PEOPLE Network represents various academia, private and public sectors, and community groups in Canada and worldwide and has over 600 members, including researchers, professionals, and students from more than 40 institutions and 50 partner organizations.
