Arctic Frontiers 2026: call for abstracts
The call for abstracts is open for Arctic Frontiers 2026: Turn of the Tide conference. Abstracts are accepted from academics, researchers, Indigenous knowledge holders, applied scientists, and industry representatives. Deadline: October 3.
Each of the seven themes is co-organised by a session committee and led by scientists from Arctic Frontiers partner organisations:
1. Monitoring, Modeling, and Mitigating the Consequences of Arctic Permafrost Change
2. Maritime Extremes: Communication, Uncertainty and Emerging Technologies
3. High Tide for Arctic Preparedness
4. Governance and Policy for Sustainable Space Activities
5. Ocean Observational Pyramid: From Seabed to Space Monitoring
6. Maintaining and Developing Arctic Observing Capabilities
7. Arctic Transformation: Climate Change and Cumulative Effects on Ecosystems
The abstract submission deadline is October 3, 2025.
