Scientists from UArctic Thematic Networks Featured at Nordic-Baltic National Days in Prague
Several polar science researchers from the UArctic Thematic Networks on High Latitude Dust and Nordic Snow Network (Agricultural University of Iceland and Czech University of Life Sciences) were invited and recognized at the Nordic-Baltic National Days on 3 June 2026.
The Nordic-Baltic National Days were hosted in Prague, the only place where this celebration has been arranged for many years. The ambassadors and honorary consuls emphasized their strong alliances and shared values.

Following the event, the Norwegian ambassador, Snøfrid Byrløkken Emterud, organized an informal exchange meeting on Czech-Arctic relations and research at her residence, where experts and diplomats from various countries around the world met for discussions. The gathering clearly showed that such meetings are mutually beneficial for extending the scope of activities and the protection of the Arctic.
