Thematic Network on Northern Nursing Education at UArctic Congress 2026
The Northern Nursing Education Network (NNEN) was proud to participate in the UArctic Congress 2026 in the Faroe Islands. During the congress, network members jointly delivered a 50-minute panel presentation titled: "Navigating Uncertainties in the Arctic: Climate, Health, and Sustainable Healthcare Education approaches in Northern Regions".
The session provided an opportunity to showcase the strength of the international network and to share experiences and perspectives from different institutions and countries. The NNEN would like to thank everyone who attended and contributed to the discussion.
The five presentations focused on current initiatives, collaborative projects, and the importance of nursing education and research across northern and Arctic regions particularly around sustainable approaches for workforce development and staff wellbeing.
